Minister of National Education Nabi Avcı received Bursa Deputy Hüseyin Şahin and a delegation of benevolent businessmen of Bursa. During this speech during the visit, Minister Avcı emphasized the importance of continuing good deeds of charity work in the Muslim belief. Noting that good deed book of persons who make donations to the construction of buildings such as schools, bridges, hospitals, hospice and fountains will be open even after their death, Minister Avcı said that, “When a charity lover make a donation to the construction of schools, his good deeds continue to be accepted by Allah as long as students who receive education in these schools continue to learn.” Minister Avcı thanked businessmen of Bursa for their support and charity works in the education system.
Speaking on the behalf of the delegation, Bursa Deputy Hüseyin Şahin said that the 4+4+4 system has launched a reform in national education and thanked Minister Avcı for his support to vocational and technical education. Giving information about the vocational education campus constructed in the Bingöl district of Bursa province by the donations of businessmen of Bursa, Deputy Şahin said the campus includes a total of 26 buildings such as 4 vocational and technical high schools, a sports academy, a social science high school and a preschool building. He noted that approximately 2.000 students are currently receiving education in the 6.000 capacity campus.
At the end of the visit, Minister Avcı thanked the businessmen of Bursa for the donations.
